Amelia Earhart Corporation Launches The “AVIATOR” Airline Foot Pillow

Amelia Earhart Corporation today announced plans to launch the AVIATOR brand Airline Foot Pillow that eases “Economy Class Syndrome”. Amelia Earhart Corporation will be the exclusive marketeer of the AVIATOR airline foot pillow to provide the latest designer trends and innovations as consumers continue to demand premium choices for their air travel lifestyles. The patent pending air travel foot pillow specifically designed for the prevention of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) during commercial airline travel.

The AVIATOR therapeutic airline foot pillow was invented by frequent flyer Renneé Godden-Gonzales, a part time actress and resident of La Jolla, California whose on screen credits include the hard-edge drug thriller TRAFFIC, starring Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones. The patent pending SEAgel technology used in the AVIATOR airline foot pillow allows air travelers to move their legs more freely during a flight that could reduce the risk of deep vein thrombosis (DVT). The European Commission has approved the therapeutic AVIATOR airline foot pillow for sale in all EU countries. In addition, the AVIATOR
airline foot pillow meets the International Air Transport Association (IATA) guidelines for carry-on baggage.

AVIATOR airline foot pillow provides comfort for air travelers, your feet will feel like they are flying first class. The folding travel version, looks like a designer handbag, but opens to reveal a comfort layer of stylish lambswool over thick inter-core of SEAgel, once it is heated or chilled, the SEAgel super pac can maintain an elevated or lowered temperature for hours giving the AVIATOR airline foot pillow users more comfort.

“A new US study by researchers at Harvard Medical School has shown there to be a very strong correlation between travel to a higher risk of developing deep vein thrombosis (DVT), also known as a venous thromboembolism (VTE),” said Richard H. Davis, President and CEO of Amelia Earhart Corporation. “Despite the low risk of getting deep vein thrombosis it went up 18 per cent for every 2-hour increase in travel duration by any means of transport, but for air transport the relative risk went up 26 per cent for every 2-hour increase in travel duration,” said Davis.

While everyone is at risk from DVT, there are some passengers with a higher risk than others. These include passengers seated in non-aisle seats, for whom it is much harder to get up and walk around, smokers, drinkers, people with heart disease, pregnant women, people over 40, women on birth control and post-surgical patients. Long haul flights are considerably more dangerous than short flights. Avoid napping during any flight, leg movements are curtailed during sleep. About 200,000 people in the United States die of complications due to DVT every year.
